Plazma Therapia During the FUE Hair Transplant

  • The plazma injections into the areas where the hair has thinned over the scalp may stimulate the hair follicles and aid hair growth and its thickening.
  • The plazma theraphia may also be applied during a hair transplant. It may help reduce the healing time and accelerate the growth of the new hair following the hair transplant.

  • The plazma is obtained by drawing your own blood (as if for a blood test) and isolating a high concentration of plathelets in a centrifuge at the time of the FUE transplant.  Concentrated growth and healing factors in the plazma will enhance the healing and aid the hair growth. Studies have shown that the this treatment decreases the redness and the crusting following the hair transplant and improves the growth rate of transplanted follicles.
  • We recommend the plazma theraphia for all FUE transplants but particularly for patients who have had previous transplants, those with thin hair over the transplanted or untouched parts of the scalp. We inject the plazma into all the potential hair loss areas, the transplanted and untransplanted areas as well.

  • The plazma helps during the healing process and stimulates the hair follicles, this is its advantage but, this doesn’t mean that if you don’t opt for it the overall result will be less or bad, this is just something extra to accelerate the healing an recovery time and also help the growth of hair during the first 3 months following the surgery. That is why – whether to get it or not during the FUE operation- we leave it up to your decision.
